“Marriage and Divorce: The Realities and Expectations” in a Seminar at the BA

The BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program is organizing a seminar entitled “Marriage and Divorce: The Realities and Expectations” on Monday, 23 June 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in the BACC Lecture Hall.
The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Ibrahim El-Gamal, Director General of the Preaching and Religious Media Department and Head of the Fatwa Committee at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif; Rev. Boulos Awad, Assistant Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House in Alexandria; and Dr. Tarek Abdel Salam, Psychotherapist and Marriage Counselor.
The seminar addresses issues related to marriage and divorce from multiple perspectives—religious, psychological, and societal—in light of contemporary challenges, with the aim of presenting balanced views that contribute to strengthening family stability and providing an environment for dialogue among all concerned parties.
