Challenges of Social Sciences in the Arab World in a Seminar at the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a seminar entitled "The Challenges of Social Sciences in the Arab World: Prospects for Transformation and Future Visions", on Wednesday, 8 November 2023, at the BA Conference Center, VIP Meeting Room.
The seminar will host a group of professors and experts in the field of sociology from the Arab world and from Cairo and Alexandria universities. The sessions aim to discuss the various challenges with regard to the future of social sciences and to present certain sociological Arab models and experiences.
The seminar, organized by the Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program stems from the BA belief in the importance of sociology in the study of human problems to help find scientific-based solutions to them, together with the importance of the interrelationship between Arab societies.
