In collaboration with the Ministry of Communications, the BA Discusses Digital Citizenship and Empowering Youth to Confront Digital Addiction

The BA Sustainable Development Studies Program and the Center for Strategic Studies, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, organized a lecture entitled “Digital Citizenship and Youth Empowerment in Confronting Digital Addiction.”
The event was held in the BACC Small Theater, in the presence of a number of public figures, experts, and university students, as part of the Library's pioneering role as a platform for developmental interaction and supporting youth capacities in addressing digital challenges.
The event opened with a speech by Dr. Marwa El-Wakil, Head of the BA Academic Research Sector.
It concluded with an open discussion with young people, during which they discussed mechanisms for protection against hacking and how to benefit from grants and training programs offered by the Ministry of Communications to enhance digital work skills.
