Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority Visits the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina welcomed Ms. Rasha Abdel Aal, Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority; and Dr. Safwat Ahmed Hassan, Director General of the General Administration for Technical Affairs (office of the Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority), and the accompanying delegation on their recent visit.
On behalf of Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the BA, the delegation was received by Dr. Mohamed Soliman, Acting Deputy Director of the BA, who accompanied the guests on a tour during which they were introduced to the different library departments.
Ms. Rasha Abdel Aal said that this visit is part of the Egyptian Tax Authority's keenness to communicate with various leading national institutions that are beacons of thought, science, and culture. She also noted that the BA is one of the major cultural institutions in the world and a center of enlightenment and knowledge that contributes to building national awareness and supporting the State's efforts in sustainable development.
